New organization for the warehouse 4.0 and WMS to make management more efficient, safe and integrated with production flows

Papermon, a company specialized in the production of disposable table linen Made in Italy, continues its industrial innovation path with a strategic operation in the context of logistics 4.0. The new storage structure is based on high density interlocking industrial shelving served by automated shuttles, which ensure greater efficiency in the utilization of space, operating safety and speed of loading and unloading flows. The system allows storage and automated handling of the pallets on various levels and in depth, according to a logic perfectly aligned with the principles of advanced industrial automation.

To further strengthen the transition towards model 4.0, the implementation of a computerized WMS (Warehouse Management System) for intelligent and integrated warehouse management is in progress. The WMS allows real time inventory control, picking route optimization and logistical flow automation, improving precision, traceability and response times.
